The eye cannot say to the hand, 'I do not need you,' nor again the head to the feet, 'I do not need you.' Indeed, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are all the more necessary" (1 Corinthians 12:21–22).

Saint Paul wrote that to the Christians in Corinth, who were comparing their gifts. His answer still stands: every baptized person is part of the Body of Christ, and every one of them has gifts from the Holy Spirit that the Church needs. The person who sits in the back pew, the teenager who just got confirmed, the retiree with free mornings, and you.

Wear it as a reminder of who you are in the Church. Give it to the volunteer who never gets thanked, the new parishioner, or anyone you want to know that the Church is better because they're in it.
