When Saint Francis prayed before the crucifix at San Damiano, the story goes that he heard Jesus say, "Francis, go and repair my house." He started with stones and mortar. Then God used him to renew the whole Church.

You are part of that work, too. Saint Peter tells us, "like living stones, let yourselves be built into a spiritual house" (1 Peter 2:5). Every saint built up the Church with the gifts God gave them, and every one of them started as an ordinary person who said yes. The gifts the Holy Spirit has given you are how you help build it now.

The small badge on the front makes this an everyday shirt. It's a good gift for a Confirmation candidate choosing a saint name, a parish volunteer, or anyone you'd like to see become a saint.
